Guided Oregon Coast Bottom Fishing

How our guide service differs from a Charter service is the size of groups we can take, we have a maximum occupancy of 6 clients per boat. This means a much more personalized experience and the ability to use different and more entertaining techniques than you see on a large Charter boat.  For larger groups, we do work with other guides to accommodate.

We have a custom-built boat, that provides more safety and comfort than any other guide boat on the mar

ket. At 28 feet long with a deep V in the front, our boat cuts through the water providing a smooth enjoyable ride.

A guided bottom fishing trip off the Oregon Coast is a must for the adventurer or lover of fishing. Not only are these fish hard fighting and willing biters for anglers, they are also one of our favorite fish to eat.   The white, flaky rockfish are easily adaptable to many recipes and tastebuds, and a catch everyone loves. You should experience this fishery at least once.

Oregon Bottom Fishing

There are many varieties of rockfish we target, including Ling Cod, Black Rockfish (Seabass), Tiger Fish, Canary, and Copper Rockfish are often caught on this trip. The lingcod limit is 2 per person and 5 Rockfish per person. Ocean permitting we will drop crab pots to add to your catch, the limit is 12 crabs per person (requires shellfish permit).

Bottom Fishing Trips are a 6-8 hour day of fishing, because of the high success rate, most days we have time to pull crab pots, and even salmon or halibut fish at the end.
